Kenyon Admission Consulting, LLC (KAC) specializes in relationship-based Independent School admission consulting services in the Princeton, NJ area and beyond.
KAC Founder & President, Taylor Kenyon, has spent 25+ years on Independent School campuses and has a wealth of experience as an Educator & Administrator in both boarding and day schools.
Over the past eight years, Taylor has counseled nearly 200 students — and their families — through the Independent School search, application, admission & enrollment processes.
Taylor has visited the campuses of 60+ American Independent Schools, and he has friends and professional connections who currently work on the campuses of 130+ different Independent Schools across the country.
Taylor, along with Noelle, his wife, and Lucy, their dog, live on the campus of The Lawrenceville School, a Princeton, NJ area boarding and day school, where Noelle teaches, coaches, and serves as a dorm parent.
Results
During the previous two admission cycles (2023-24 and 2024-25), 90% of KAC full-service clients were admitted to their self-identified Top Choice school, a list which includes Phillips Academy - Andover (MA), Phillips Exeter Academy (NH), The Hotchkiss School (CT), and The Lawrenceville School (NJ).

Independent School Expertise
Taylor has helped many students and families navigate the crowded Independent School marketplace of Princeton, NJ. Taylor was born and raised in Princeton and his family have lived in the area for three generations. Taylor attended Princeton Day School for eleven years and has resided on the campus of The Lawrenceville School for the past four. Nearly two-thirds of the students with whom Taylor has worked have matriculated to an Independent School in the Princeton Area.
Boarding School Expertise
Taylor attended and then later worked at The Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, CT between 2005-2018. His siblings went to Hotchkiss and The Taft School (CT), and other family members to St. Mark’s School (MA) and The Pennington School (NJ). In the fall of 2004, as a prospective student, Taylor toured and interviewed at twelve Boarding Schools. Taylor has resided on the campus of The Lawrenceville School since the fall of 2021.
Since 2018, Taylor has worked with many students seeking admission to those schools making up either the Ten Schools Admission Organization (Andover, Choate, Deerfield, Exeter, Hill, Hotchkiss, Lawrenceville, Loomis Chaffee, St. Paul's and Taft) or the Mid-Atlantic Boarding Schools (Blair Academy, Episcopal High School, Mercersburg Academy, Peddie School and St. Andrew's School). Taylor is very familiar with helping students and families navigate the unique intricacies of interviewing at and applying to these and other American boarding schools.
In addition to Andover, Exeter, Hotchkiss and Lawrenceville, other boarding schools to which KAC clients were admitted over the previous two years include: Blair Academy (NJ), Canterbury School (CT), George School (PA), Loomis Chaffee School (CT), Mercersburg Academy (PA), Peddie School (NJ), The Hun School of Princeton (NJ), The Pennington School (NJ), and St. George's School (RI).
